Sheldon Ross, 83, of East Moline, died on May 29, 2016, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.
Per his wishes there will be no services and cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
Sheldon was born on October 2, 1932, in Moline the son of Everett and Esther Anderson Ross. He married Margurite “Marge” Hinrichsen on December 27, 1952 in Rock Island.
Sheldon served four years in the USAF from 1952 to 1956. He was employed by Eagle Signal for 29 years and the Rock Island Arsenal for 5 years retiring in 1990.
Sheldon and Marge traveled extensively and enjoyed square dancing, playing bridge and spending winters for 21 years in southern Texas.
He is survived by his wife
