Adla D. McClain, 91, of Moline, died Monday July 11, 2011, at Trinity, Rock Island.
Per Adla's wishes, her body will be cremated. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to InTouch Adult Day Services. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Adla was born January 14, 1920 in Rock Island, the daughter of Robert and Emma Guertsen Nelson. She married Lowell B. McClain on October 26, 1940 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2002.
Adla was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her sister Roberta and brother Robert.
