Aileen L. Abbott, 58, of Orion died May 30, 2007 at Genesis West Medical Center, Davenport.
A memorial service will be held 11a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Beulah Presbyterian Church, Orion. There will be a private burial of cremains at Rural Township Cemetery at Beulah Church. Memorials may be made to Beulah Presbyterian Church or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Aileen was born September 12, 1948 in Salina, KS to LaVern and Helen (Pence) Anderson. She married John T. Abbott on August 12, 1967 in Salina, KS.
Aileen was a devoted wife and mother. Her three grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She was an integral part of the family farm and was very dedicated to her beautiful flower gardens. She was an active member of Beulah Presbyterian Church where she energetically taught Sunday school and was the director of Children's Corner Preschool. She was a constant source of wisdom and joy.
