Alec D. "Big Al" McKinley, 42 of Moline died July 16, 2005 at Trinity Medical Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Marcella Smith.
Alec was born December 17, 1962 in Moline to Lloyd McKinley and Marcella Kelso. He graduated from Alleman High School where he still holds the longest punting record.
Alec was an U.S. Army veteran. He was employed as a driver for Cardinal Red-E-Mix. He was also a concrete contractor.
Alec enjoyed cooking BBQ and all sports. He especially liked watching the Chicago Bears play.
Alec was always cheerful and had a smile on his face.
