Alejandro “Alex” Gonzalez Jr., 25, of Moline, died Thursday, November 22, 2018, in Carbon Cliff.

Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Moline. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2018 with a Rosary service after the visitation at 7:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Ave, Moline. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Moline.  Memorials may be made to the family. All need to use 60th Street for access to the funeral home.

Alejandro was born on November 23, 1992 in Moline, the son of Alejandro Gonzalez Sr., and Kelly Rodriguez. He was a laborer at QCA Pools & Spa.

Survivors include his father, Alejandro Gonzalez Sr., Bettendorf; mother, Kelly (Bill) Blankenship, Moline; brother, Shane (Amber) Gonzalez, East Moline; daughters, Aleah, Alahna, Elyla, Lianee, and Kenlee; step-daughter, Enayjah; grandmother, Victoria Gonzalez, Moline; uncles, Ruben (Norma), Agustine (Megan), Terry (Etta); aunts, Annette (Jose), Maria (Roberto); nieces, Liliana and Summer; nephews, Ashton and Aiden; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dario Sr., maternal grandmother, Marge Rodriguez, and grandfather, Donald Rodriguez, uncle, Dario Jr., and a cousin, Angelica.
