Alfred "Tony" Anthony Rissetto Jr., 57, of Sherrard, died January 31, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Kirk, Huggins and Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #246. Memorials may be made to the NRA or to the Hepatitis C Foundation.
Tony was born on December 15, 1952 in Cheverly, Maryland to Alfred Anthony and Dorothy Ann Ackerlind Rissetto Sr. He married Donna-Lee Jirak on February 12, 1977 in Norwood, Pennsylvania.
Tony started his employment over 24 years ago with the U.S. Government on the Rock Island Arsenal as a tool and die maker and was currently employed as the Division Chief Over Tooling Support.
Tony was a Benefactor Member of the NRA. He served as a village trustee for 12 years and then served a term as the mayor of Sherrard. He enjoyed his time as a competitive pistol shooter as well as hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Tony also enjoyed gardening, winemaking and a good conversation with family and friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kim Ackerlind Rissetto and his in-laws, Frank and Vivian Jirak.
