Alice Arlyne Charles, 86, of Moline, died June 4, 2009 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 with a visitation one hour prior at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the youth group of First Baptist Church, East Moline.
Arlyne was born April 22, 1923 in Osceola, IA to John and Madge (Phipps) Lear. She married Robert E. Charles on June 17, 1961 in Silvis. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Arlyne was a clerk at the Rock Island Arsenal retiring after 35 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, East Moline, 50 year Eastern Star member and a 40 year member of Al-Anon
