Alice J. Dailey, 88, of Moline, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021, at her home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.
Alice was born on June 7, 1933, in Marengo, Iowa, the daughter of Glen and Lenore (Sherlock) Brown. She married Charles J. Dailey on May 29, 1954, in East Moline. Alice was previously employed as a procurement officer at the Rock Island Arsenal. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed discussing politics and was an avid reader. Alice loved living on the Rock River and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; children, Stephen Dailey, Janice (Mike) Stephenson, Joseph (Yun hee) Dailey, Tracy (Michael) Juscius, and Patrick Dailey; grandchildren, Scott (Ashley) Berg, Kelsey (Josh Hoffman) Berg, Jessica Berg, Macy Dailey, Charles Dailey, and Jake Dailey; siblings, Tom Brown and Danny Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marianne Boenitz
