Funeral services for Alice L. Paasch, 81 of East Moline, IL are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Wildwood Baptist Church, Hampton, IL. Burial is at 2:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery in Davenport, IA. Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Alice died Sunday, April 16 at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Wildwood Baptist Church or to Maranatha Baptist Church, Zolfo Springs, FL.
Alice was born February 13, 1925 in Walnut, IA the daughter of Everett and Estella Jones. She attended high school at Davenport Central and graduated from United Township High School, East Moline. Alice worked at United Township High School as the secretary to the Principal and retired in 1989 after 30 years of employment. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling, reading, and playing cards in local bridge groups and at Moline Senior Citizens Center. Alice loved and enjoyed spending time with her husband and family.
Survivors include her husband of 62 ? years, Earl V. Paasch; children and spouses, Earl K. and Barbara Paasch, Bettendorf, Richard and Lee-Ann Paasch, Wauchula, FL., Patricia Mitchell, Rock Island, and Sharon and Thomas Rexroth, Burlington, IA. Grandchildren include Georgianna Koenig, Mark Koenig, Julianna Cedeno, Robert Mitchell, Kathryn Mitchell-St. John, Scott Mitchell, Jeffrey Mitchell, Jinger Durbin, Jason Rexroth, Joel Rexroth and Jena Wright and a brother, Eldon Jones, Rogers, AK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter and great-grandson.
