Alisha M. Sanders

Alisha M. Sanders, 41, of Moline, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021, at her home.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 11 am- 2 pm on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Pythian Hall 409 2nd Ave E, Milan, IL.  Memorials may be made to the family in care of Danielle Cook.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Alisha was born on May 6, 1979, in Rock Island, the daughter of Terry and Marie (Kline) Sanders.  Alisha was born a fighter, as she had several broken bones at birth and many more over her time here on earth.  She was born with a brittle bone disease known as OI and was not expected to live for more than two weeks. She did not let her disease keep her down!  Alisha had the purest and most kind soul.  She enjoyed music, dancing, watching wrestling and was an avid Packers and Hawkeye fan.  Alisha will be missed by so many, especially her kitty cats Macie and Charlie.

Survivors include her father, Terry and Rhonda Sanders; siblings, Danielle (Ted Simmons) Cook, Rock Island, Tara (Tien) Nguyen, Zachary (Betty) Doy, Breeanne Moran, Natasha Dyer, Justin Sanders, and Jacob (Olivia) Sanders; paternal grandmother, Jan Sanders; nieces and nephews, Eli, Ashlynn, Tyler, Tobias, Truin, Bentley, Makenzie, Caden, Jadyn, Rozalyn, Chloe, Levi, Ezra, Izzable, and Isabell; aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

Preceding her in death is her mother, Marie; maternal grandmother, Jean Cook; paternal grandfather, Merlin Sanders; Aunt Tracy and Aunt Kim.
