Allen Paul Overmyer

Allen Paul Overmyer, 63, of Davenport, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2006 at Union Congregational Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Rock Island. Military rites will be conducted by the Moline American Legion #246. Memorials may be made to the Dave Shmigelsky Memorial Fund, which provides scholarships for under privelged children.
Allen was born on April 20, 1943 in Aurora, IL to Elmer Paul and Norma Dell Wood Overmyer. He married Elizabeth "Betsie" Fink on May 23, 1987 in Moline, IL.
Allen was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Allen was an avid Mallard fan, and also loved to play golf. He was also a lifetime Cubs fan.
