Andrew Sebastian Contreras, Sr, 27, passed away Saturday May 13, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2023, with a rosary to be recited at 3:30 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund for his children.

Andrew was born on May 14, 1995, in Silvis, the son of Guadalupe “Peo” and Tonya Lee (Smith) Contreras. He worked in retail sales. Andrew enjoyed baseball, basketball and participating in MMA. He spent much of his time teaching his children different sports. Andrew also enjoyed listening to music, riding his motorcycle and playing golf. Above all, his children and family were most important to him.

Survivors include his parents, Guadalupe “Peo” & Tonya; children, Jazlynn, Andrew, Miles and their mother, Josseline Torres; siblings, Courtney Contreras and Kayla Contreras; maternal grandparents, Chris & Rick Graves and Ron Pyland; paternal grandparent, Rosa Contreras; nieces and nephews, Mya, Carson, Blake, Matias; and a large loving extended family.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sebastian Contreras; uncles, John Smith and Javier Contreras.
