Anna Morrow, 71 of Moline, passed away on Tuesday August 16, 2011 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus, after an extraordinary battle following a ruptured appendix.
In accordance with her wishes, no services are scheduled. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
"Little Anna Gilbert from LeClaire Iowa" was born on January 15, 1940 to Robert and Lorena (Hines) Gilbert. The first of four children, Anna graduated from LeClaire High School in 1958. She married Donald Morrow in 1965. He passed away in 1985. She later found her significant other, David Lipe.
Anna's career allowed her to influence many Quad City families in her work with Dyna Kleen during the 1970's and later as and independent contractor. She enjoyed helping people and making a difference. Anna also enjoyed mushroom hunting, playing the lottery, reality talent television shows, and talking on the phone to her many family and friends.
Those left to honor her spirit are her partner, Dave Lipe, Moline, IL, sister, Sandra (Bill) Hyle, LeClaire, IA, sister-in-law, Patty Gilbert, East Moline, IL, nieces and nephews: Brenda Hyle, Auroa, CO, Dana Matson, Silvis, IL, Bob (Lynette) Hyle, Bettendorf, IA, Jerry Allen (Carrie) Kingery, Wendy Bonilla, East Moline, IL, Sherry (Dani) Hyle, East Moline, Becky Monteith, Bettendorf, IA, Jeff Morrow and Bill Gilbert, Bettendorf, IA.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Gilbert, and sister, Sharon Kingery.
