Annabell (Ann) Marie Hagener Reynolds, a resident of Heartland Health Care Center in recent years, died peacefully Thursday, July 27, 2006. Mrs. Reynolds had been a resident of Moline since 1929 when she became a home economics teacher in the local school system.
A celebration of life will be observed at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. The family requests no flowers. Memorial gifts may be donated to Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, or Christian Friendliness, Rock Island
The daughter. of Adele and Albert Hagener, Mrs. Reynolds was born December 28, 1905 in Beardstown, IL. After graduating high school in Beardstown she studied at Bradley Polytechnic Institute (now Bradley University) where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics. Shortly thereafter Ann began her teaching career in Cordova, IL. She also had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline since moving to the area. On October 9, 1936 Ann and Raymond Reynolds were married in Moline. Mr. Reynolds preceded his wife in death in January 1991.
Mrs. Reynolds was the mother of two children, Richard Reynolds of San Diego, CA. and Sandra Crowe of Rock Island, who preceded her mother in death. There are five surviving grandchildren: Ann Lopez, Ray Hannon, Mark Reynolds. Michael Reynolds and Jeffrey Reynolds. Several great and great-great grandchildren also survive Mrs. Reynolds.
