Antoinette Clara Knaack

Antoinette "Clara" Knaack, 90, of Moline, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at Aspen Rehab & Health Care, Silvis.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38 Ave., Moline. Private family services will be held. Inurnment will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.
Antoinette was born June 12, 1920 in Rock Island, the daughter of Oscar and Martha (Maertens) Van Poucke. She married George Knaack on July 2, 1955 in Moline. He preceded her in death on November 13, 2007.
Clara was a beautician for 40 years, retiring in 1983. She loved fishing, playing cards, particularly rummy with her family. Above all else, Clara loved to spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
