Arden D Gillespie

Arden Gillespie, 85, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019, at home.

Cremation rights have been accorded and Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.  Burial at National Cemetery, Rock Island, will take place at a later date.

Arden was born on September 13, 1933, in Marissa, Illinois, the son of Harvey and Hazel (Bartz) Gillespie.  Arden was an Air Force Veteran.  He was a self-employed insurance agent dealing in annuities.

Survivors include his sister Charlene Deutsch, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Willard Gillespie, and sisters, Neva Miller and Barbara Johnson.
