Ardis Linnea Bloeser, 96, of Rock Island, IL died on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330 13th Street, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time also at the church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Christian Friendliness. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ardis was born November 15, 1915 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Carl Justus and Elin Christina (Verme) Johnson. She married Emmett Orville Bloeser on June 4, 1938 in East Moline. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1982. Ardis was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school. She was a past member of Church Council, WELCA- Deborah Unit and Goodwill Society. Ardis was a member of the Trinity Hospital Auxiliary, King's Daughters Katherine Walther Circle and the National Republican Women. She was also a member of VASA Lodge and a Life Member of Oakwood Country Club.
