Armella Gieseman Daigneau Gibson, age 90, of Moline, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Amber Ridge Assisted Living, Moline.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at First Lutheran Church, 1230-5th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Moline, or Amber Ridge Activities Department.
Armella was born May 11, 1920, in Bellevue, IA, the daughter of Diederich and Alma (Wiese) Gieseman. She married Bill Daigneau on July 29, 1945 in Reno, NV. He preceded her in death in August 1977. She later married William E. Gibson on February 9, 1985 in Las Vegas. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1994.
Armella graduated from beauty school in Cedar Rapids, and worked as a beautician, and owner/operator of many local beauty shops. She later worked at Gatsby's in Moline as a hostess. Armella was a member of First Lutheran Church in Moline. She was also a member of the Friend's Circle, Svithiod Club, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W.

Armella was an amazing lady who enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be missed dearly.
