Arnold Oscar Anderson, age 88, of Rock Island, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Bethany Baptist Church, Moline. Visitation is from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial is in Rose-Lawn Memorial Garden, Moline. Memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Arnold was born April 13, 1920 in Rapid River, MI, the son of Arnold and Elizabeth (Benson) Anderson. He married Doris L.Landen on July 2, 1949 at Bethany Baptist Church.
Arnold was employed by the Rock Island Railroad. He was a long time member of Bethany Baptist Church, Moline.
