Bennett E. Holmquist, age 49, of Moline, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 3:00-6:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family.
Bennett was born November 4, 1960 in Moline, the son of Dean and Amy (Hasegawa) Holmquist.
Bennett was employed as a longtime computer technician with Sentry Insurance, and was recently employed by Mel Foster Insurance. He had an Associate of Arts degree from Black Hawk College. Bennett enjoyed being outdoors and was a member of the New Windsor Sportsman Club. He loved to cook; fish and he enjoyed listening to rock-n-roll music. He was also a movie fanatic.
