Bernice Garbett Pearson, 86, of Moline, died May 8, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday May 12, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Christian Fellowship or Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline.
Bernice was born May 24, 1921 in Melcher, IA to James and Iva (Rogers) Rivers.
She married Roy Garbett on March 14, 1943 in Taylorville, IL. He preceded her in 1971. She later married Kenneth Pearson in February of 1974 in Danville, IL. He preceded her in death in 1998.
Bernice was a life long member of Moline Gospel Temple where for many years she taught Sunday school to teenage girls. She recently was a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.
She is survived by
