Betty Allen, age 83, of Moline, died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 3:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the family.
Betty was born August 3, 1929 in Moline, the daughter of Edward "Ed" and Henrietta (Richards) Fiebig. She married Clifford W. Allen on April 12, 1947 in Moline. He preceded her in death on January 25, 1993.
Betty was employed by Ludwich Karl in cleaning from 1976-1980. She was also employed by the Holiday Inn in Moline in the laundry dept. from 1987-1990. Betty was a former member of South Moline Baptist Church, and also the Croation Crest Club in Moline.
