Betty A. Cooke, 82, of Moline, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 11:30 to 12:00 p.m., at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, 6601 38th Ave, Moline. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m., at the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.
Betty was born on October 5, 1935, in Moline, the daughter of Everett and Helen Hicks Cook. She married Jean Cooke on January 30, 1954, in Moline, he preceded her in death on April 28, 1992. She was a homemaker.
Betty enjoyed bingo and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her son Jean Cooke Jr. (Neil Morris), Silvis; daughter, Pauline Mahan, East Moline; grandchildren, Deborah Mahan, East Moline, Paula (Jon) Navarro, Colona, Megan Surratt, Moline, Autumn Surratt, Osco; great grandchildren, Emmett Navarro, Paisley Navarro, Keara Navarro, Alexa Surratt, Eleanor Gray, and one additional great grandson due in March.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jean Cooke, her daughter, Virgina Cooke, her parents, and granddaughter, Britney Surratt.
