Betty Jean Edmunds

Betty Jean Edmunds, age 83, of Silvis, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial is at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established.
Betty was born January 11, 1928 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Robert Roy and Flossie Spriesterbecke Moss. She married Ralph Edmunds on August 19, 1945 in Lexington, SC. They had just celebrated 66 years together.
Betty enjoyed camping, and traveling all over the United States. She faithfully served the Lord in her church. Betty's greatest joy was being with her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
