Betty Louise Farrier, 83, of East Moline, died on October 24, 2011 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus, Silvis.
Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no public services. Inurnment will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran School in Moline. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family with arrangements.
Betty Louise was born on January 21, 1928 in Henry County, Iowa to John and Gratice Edwards Alter. She married Harvey T. Farrier on December 21, 1946 in Memphis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1996.
Betty was a homemaker and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Moline.
