Betty Jane Greer, 89, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012, at Christ Anglican Church, 1717, 8th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to her family.
Betty was born on September 14, 1923, in Fort Madison, IA, the daughter of James Anthony. She married Franklin C. Greer on November 7, 1959, in Moline, IL. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1998. Betty worked as a Nurse for Dr. Bill Mencrow for over 20 years and Help at Home for 11 years. She was a member of Christ Anglican Church where she was an Altar Guild, Lay Reader, and Vestry Member. Betty was a senior cadet nurse at Vaughn General Hospital. At Moline Public Hospital she was in the Alumni Association 5th District for Nurses. Also, she was Team Grandma for Chung Kim's Spellious Competition for Tae Kwan Do. Her best accomplishments in life were that she was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her son, James, and granddaughter, Stacey.
