Betty Jane "Neuy" Liljeberg, 80 of Moline died July 13, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.
A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior Monday, July 17, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial of cremains will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the Carolyn Getz Circle of the Kings Daughers.
Neuy was born July 7, 1926 in Moline to Roy and Cecile (Woodworth) Neuhaus. She married Howard Liljeberg on November 15, 1947 in Galesburg, IL.
Neuy worked for John Deere and the Rock Island Arsenal. She later chose to stay home and raise their children.
Neuy was an avid tennis player (Moline City Champ) and she was a charter member of the Carolyn Getz Circle of the Kings Daughers. She also loved to travel.
