Betty L. Logan, 91, of Moline, IL, died Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. with a visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
Betty was born on July 14, 1926, in Fulton, IL, the daughter of Siegfried and Lillian Pardee Jacobsen. She married James R. Logan on July 13, 1948, in Rock Island, IL. She worked for John Deere & Co.
Betty was a member of First Baptist Church of Rock Island and was deeply involved in the needle arts. She trained for concert piano and was previously the pianist for the church in Port Byron, IL.
Survivors include her husband, James R. Logan; children, Sandra Westin, Claudia Shropshire, James C. Logan, and Lori Donna; grandchildren, Barrett, Taylor, and Alec.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Jean Witherspoon.
