Betty J. Ream, age 71 of Moline died December 26, 2006 at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, IL.
Per her wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to Oak Glen Home in Coal Valley. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Betty was born on November 20, 1935 in Macomb, IL the daughter of Oliver and Violet Sowers. She married Richard Ream in 1971 in Rock Island.
Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed making dolls, cooking and crocheting. She delivered the Dispatch for many years.
She is survived by her husband Richard of Moline, 5 children and their spouses Mary Pobanz, Dorothy Bunker, James and Linda Wood, Joyce and Chris Tobias and Doris Walker and her fiance Ted Finley; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, her mother Violet Sowers; and brothers and spouses Robert and Judy Sowers and Gene and Karen Sowers.
She was preceded in death by her father.
