Betty Jean Tuman, 77, of Colona, died Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline after a battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 with a visitation one hour prior at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave. Moline. Burial of her cremains will be in DeKalb, IL at a later date.
Betty was born November 6, 1931 in DeKalb, IL to George Andrew and Lillie Dee (Hale) Pinkston. She married William "Bill" Tuman on September 27, 1952 in Rockford, IL.
Betty was a beautician in the Q.C. area. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and The American Motorcycle Association District 17 where she held many offices throughout the years.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
