Beverley F. Nurse

Beverley F. Nurse, 99, of Livermore, Colorado formerly of Moline passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Wesleylife, Illini Restorative Care in Silvis.

Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services at this time. Esterdahl Mortuary is assisting the family. Memorials may be directed to the NoCo Humane Society, 3501 East 71st Street, Loveland, CO 80538.

Beverley was born on January 6, 1925 in Davenport the daughter of Frank R. and Mary Marguerite Martin Birkhahn. She married John E. Nurse on December 8, 1946 in the parsonage of the Methodist Church in La Faytte, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 2012.

Beverley was employed with Sears, Roebuck & Co. for 20 years in both Moline and Milan retiring in 1984. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church while living in Moline and was currently a member of Chapel in the Pines Church in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Beverley also belonged to Glacier Gals, Livermore and Mountain Gals, Red Feather Lakes, Aspen Club and the Red Feather Historical Society. She loved living in the mountains of Colorado, reading and spending time with her family and her dogs.

Beverley is survived by her children; Linda Ekstam of Coal Valley, Brian (Sue) Nurse of Silvis and Debbie Heileman of Aledo; grandchildren; Chris, Eric, Renee, Heath, Carrie, Ryan, Donnie, Nick, Adam and Seth; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Beverley was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; mother and step-father, Bert and Marge Seaberg; father Frank R. Birkhahn and her brother, Bob Seaberg.
