Beverly Barr

Beverly J. Barr, 89, of Moline, IL, died Monday, January 12, 2015, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL, after a short illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2015, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4107 21st Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Burial will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or to QCPaws.

Beverly was born on November 1, 1925, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Leroy G. and Alice E. Schrader Benson. She married Wayne L. Barr on September 25, 1943, in Moline, and he preceded her in death on October 13, 1992.

Beverly was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and was involved in all of their activities. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Beverly was a homemaker who never met a stranger. More than anything, she delighted in spending time with her family and many friends.
