Beverly Jean Briesch Hailey, age 58 of Rock Island died Monday, October 23, 2006 at her home.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline.. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 27th, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Garden, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan or the Bethany Homes.
Beverly blessed this world with her presence on September 22, 1948, the daughter of Fred and Rose Briesch in Moline. She graduated from Moline High School in 1966. She worked for and retired from the Rock Island Arsenal after 34 years of service. She married Ross Neils Hailey on October 19, 1968 in Silvis.
Bev loved spending time with her family. She was a very talented painter of crafts and loved reading and shopping. She also had a very close circle of friends she was devoted to, and got joy out of helping others. Throughout their lives, she and Ross were loving and nurturing with their various yorkies, who were their children to them.
She is survived by her father, Fred W. Briesch, Moline; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Kayla Briesch, Grand Island, Nebraska; sister, Sharon Briesch, Moline; dear friend, Herb Allison, Moline; sister-in-law, Phyllis (Jim) Winkelbauer, and their three children, California; nephews and nieces, Natasha Moninski (Kevin), Jamie Briesch, Katie Briesch, Raymond Briesch (Wendy), John Briesch (Maria, Velvet Eggert (Mike), Kelley Briesch, and Billy Teague and all of their wonderful children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Hailey; mother, Rose Briesch; sister, Bonnie Borden; brother, Fred Briesch; nephew, Freddie Briesch, and great-nephew, Braxton Moninski.
