Bobby Gene Keys, 67, of Moline, died Friday, August 8, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and there will be no services or visitation. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Bob was born on July 24, 1947, in Neelyville, MO, the son of Delmer and Leora Price Keys. He married Barbara Whitman on September 29, 1973 in St. Louis, MO.
Bob was a production planner and an engineer with McDonnell Douglas and Boeing, retiring in 2009 after more than forty years. He was a US Army veteran, stationed in Alaska during the Vietnam War.
Bob enjoyed working on home improvement projects, woodworking, and working in the yard. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and helping others.
