Bonnie L. Kruse, 83, of Moline died Thursday, January 5th, 2012 at Amber Ridge Memory Care, Moline, IL.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. There will be a visitation from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the family.
Bonnie was born on September 25, 1928 in Henry County, IL to Frank and Ferne (Shattuck) Poppy. She married Clarence A. Kruse on January 19, 1947 at Andover Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2005. She worked for Eagle Signal in Davenport and later for Walter Ross DC in Silvis. She was a member of Bethel Wesley Church and Pricilla Circle of the Church in Moline. Bonnie was a lifetime member of OES #258 and also of the American Legion Auxiliary #246. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and was quite the Renaissance Lady when it came to crafts. She loved cooking for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Karla Kruse on August 28, 2008; and brother, Clifford Poppy.
