Brenda F. Machalek, 62, of Rock Island, died October 11, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2007 with a visitation from 3-5 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Private burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to her grandchildren's education fund.
Brenda was born May 15, 1945 in Saffell, Arkansas to Bill and Agnes (Huskey) Dawson. She married Sidney Machalek on April 16, 1988.
Brenda had been employed at QCA Pools and Spas as an office manager. She was a member of Heritage Wesleyan Church, where she attended Heart Strings. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
