Carl A. Jordan, age 52, of Moline, died Friday, January 16, 2009 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd, 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial is in Dayton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Carl was born October 7, 1956 in Geneseo, IL, the son of Irvin C. and Dorothy Helen (Arnold) Jordan, Sr. He married Rosetta Hankins on September 22, 1979 in Rock Island. He later married Barbara Buehl on August 15, 1998 in Sherrard.
Carl was most recently employed through G4S Wackenhut at John Deere Harvester, East Moline. Previous employment included: IOCO in Davenport, Tri-City Food Store in East Moline, Per Mar, Davenport and he also was a Milan Auxiliary Police Officer. Carl enjoyed bowling, golf, and reading, especially western books. He was an avid Chicago Cub and Bears fan. He loved his black lab, Tacoma. Most importantly, Carl loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
