Carl Lee Larson, 76, of Orion, died April 5, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.
Funeral services are 10a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion with David Schultz officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery with military honor conducted by Orion American Legion Post 255. Memorials may be to the family.
Carl was born October 25, 1930 in Galesburg, IL to Carl E. and Edna Mae Hendricks Larson. He married Judith E. Hamilton on June 8, 1956 in Orion.
Carl was a lineman for 38 years. He worked for Sherrard Power and later for the Iowa Illinois Power Company. He retired in 1992.
Carl was an Army veteran serving in Korea. He was a member of Orion United Methodist Church and the Orion American Legion Post #255. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping at Lake Storey. He also enjoyed riding his Harley during his younger years. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
