Carol Jean Beard, age 65, of Moline, died Friday, July 25, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center. East Campus, Davenport.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Carol was born January 5, 1943 in Wapello, IA, the daughter of Dave and Agnes (Kester) Windland. She married William M. Beard, Jr. on May 26, 1962 in Green Rock.
Carol was a graduate of United Township High School. She attended Homewood Evangelical Free Church, Moline. Carol did volunteer work in the community, including volunteer work at Friendship Manor, Rock Island. She was a loving, caring, wife, mother, and grandmother. Carol was a Proverbs 31 wife.
