Carol Englehaupt, 89, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Rosewood Health Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Animal Care and Control.
Carol was born on March 3, 1927, in Bardolph, IL, the daughter of Otis George and Willa Dorothy Westlake Harland. She married Alfred “Clark” Englehaupt on September 11, 1954, in Aledo, IL, and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1999. She worked as a press operator for Desaulniers, from where she retired.
Carol enjoyed baking, sewing, and quilting. She made quilts for her family and friends which will be forever cherished.
Survivors include her children, Ric Clarke, Nashville, TN, and Belinda (Michael) Bertelli, Moline, IL; grandchildren, D.W. Clarke, Amanda Bertelli, James Bertelli, and Brock Bertelli; great grandchild, Devon Clarke; sister, Barbara Mason, Canton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Dorothy Pearson.
