Carolyn D Anderson

Carolyn D Anderson, 80, of Moline, passed away, April 2, 2024, at Overlook Village Senior Living, Moline.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.  Private Interment will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Midwest Affiliate.

Carolyn was born on July 17, 1943, in Glenburn, ND, the daughter of Ardella and George Strobel. She married Ronald on February 16, 1963, in Glenburn, ND. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2019. Carolyn had many different hobbies including baking, quilting, and traveling. She also loved ballroom dancing and playing board and card games. Carolyn worked as a homemaker and owned her own house cleaning business called Cleaning With a Personal Touch.

Survivors include her sons Doug (Heather) Anderson and Jim (Lisa) Anderson; daughter Sharon Anderson; grandchildren Josh, Tyler, Katherine, Emma, and Maddie; great-grandchild Kaiden; siblings Theresa (Dennis) Ballentine, Janice (Gordon) Gueller, Elaine (Roger) Hackett.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ardella and George, husband Ronald, and sister Georgia Prenovost.
