Carolyn J. Fair, 81, of Orion, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Funeral services will be held at Kirk, Huggins and Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd, Orion, at 10 AM on Monday, July, 21 2008. Visitation will be from 3PM to 6PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery.
She was born on July 26, 1926 in Moline to Leslie and Pearl Allison Willard. She married Glen W. Fair on September 26, 1946 in Moline. With this union of marriage they had two sons Michael and Dennis.
Carolyn attended Coaltown School which was a one room school house as well as Moline High School. During WWII she played the piano and accordian at the V.A. Hospitals and the USO Club. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship of Moline and a former Sunday School teacher at Moline Gospel Temple. She was a very gifted and accomplished musician. The most important part of Carolyn's life was her family and her religion.
