Carolyn J. Penney

Carolyn Penney, 67, of East Moline, died April 7, 2009 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at First Southern Baptist Church, Colona. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Carolyn was born March 2, 1942 in Moline to Charles and Marian Goddard Shibley. She married Robert Penney on July 25, 1959 in Davenport.
Carolyn attended First Southern Baptist Church, Colona. She enjoyed camping, bowling, playing bingo at the Moline Eagles and going to yard sales.
