Carroll Foster

Carroll Foster, 84, of Moline, passed away at Allure of Geneseo on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 4, 2019, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery.  Military Honors will be given by the American Legion Post #246.  Memorials may be made to Allure of Geneseo (704 South Illinois Street; Geneseo, IL 61254).

Carroll was born to Lloyd H. and Louise L. (McIntosh) Foster in Iowa City, IA on November 29, 1934. Carroll was an Air Force Veteran. He married Adrienne Hooker on December 22, 1956, at Watertown Baptist Church in East Moline. She preceded him in death on March 28, 1993. Carroll married Elaine (Danielson) Kauzlarich in Moline on September 25, 1993. He was self-employed in the heating and air conditioning business from 1967 to 1977. Carroll then worked as a Pipefitter for Deere & Company until he retired in 1992. He enjoyed camping with his family and playing guitar.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine; children, Steve (Vicki) Foster, Michele Selander, Amy (Joel) McMann, Kim (Craig) Bries; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Patricia (Jay) Melton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Adrienne; twin brother, Carl; and sister, Connie.
