Cassaundra "Cassi" Turner, 15, of Sherrard, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Cable Community Church where she was baptized. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4th Street, Orion, IL. Burial will be at Cable Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Cassi's name for a fund to be established.
Cassi was born on December 23, 1997, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Ron and Colleen (Young) Turner. She was a freshman at Sherrard High School who loved children and enjoyed babysitting and working with Opie. She played high school softball, participated in last years' school play, and sang in the school choir where Mrs. "P" taught Cassi the love of music. In 2011, Cassi was chosen to sing at the Holiday Pops Concert. Cassi loved her cat, Ashton, and enjoyed being with her friends. She especially loved cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals with her dad.
