Catherine P. Roffman, 77, of East Moline, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, 6601 38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the funeral home. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Catherine was born on April 22, 1936, in Allamakee County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Minnie Burroughs O'Hare. She married Lyle Roffman on June 26, 1954, in Waukon, Iowa. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1993.
Catherine enjoyed shopping, yard work, her pets and most of all her family.
Survivors include children, Vicki (Bob) Edmunds, Orion, Ron (Diane) Roffman, Port Byron, and Lori (Lyle) Murphy, Galesburg; grandchildren, Shannon Edmunds, Michael (Michelle McManus) Edmunds, Sara Murphy and Sean Murphy; great-grandchildren, Jacob Edmunds and Thea Brown; brother-in-law, Donald Roffman; and sisters-in-law, Linda Henning and Sandy Byrnes. She also will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister.
