Charles Robert Enroth, age 82, of Silvis, died Friday, December 5, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 10:30 - 12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside service is 2:30 p.m.at Andover Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Bob was born August 31, 1926 in Osco, the son of Charles John and Jenny Annette (Johnson) Enroth. He married Betty Thorp on November 11, 1972 in Rock Island.
Bob was employed as a grain elevator operator for the Osco Feed Service. He was a World War II Army veteran. Bob was a member of the Osco Fire Department, and attended the Colona United Methodist Church. He loved sports, especially the Cubs and the Bears.
