Charles L. Johann, 53, of Rock Island, died October 13, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
Charles was born January 5, 1956 in East St. Louis, IL to Louis and Edna (Risely) Johann. He married Debbie Overton on November 15, 1986 in Moline.
Charles was a machine repairman at Nichol's Aluminum. He was a member of Moose Lodge, Rock Island. He loved bowling, camping, fixing choo choo trains and was an avid holiday decorator. He was also a die hard Cardinal fan. He loved spending time with his grandkids and family and was known as his family's handyman.
