Charles Wayne Kamps, age 83, of Moline, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Charles was born September 2, 1928 in Colesburg, Iowa, the son of Henry and Genevieve (Fisch) Kamps. He married Leona, and she preceded him in death.
Charles retired on August 1, 1975 after serving in the U.S. Navy for more than 20 years. He enjoyed playing dominos and cards. Charles loved animals.
