Chester Edward Larson

Chester Larson age 83, of Orion, died March 12, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Swedona Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be at Swedona Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. Orion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Chester was born on May 25, 1928 in Moline, Illinois to Edward W. & Hilma Anderson Larson. He married Betty Mae Johnson on September 8, 1948 in Davenport, Iowa.
Chester graduated from Sherrard High School in 1946. As early as he was able, Chester was working on the family farm. He was very proud of being a 3rd generation family farmer. Chester was member of the Henry County Farm Bureau and the Swedona Lutheran Church. Chester loved going to auctions and yard sales, and loved talking to people, he never met a stranger.
